I dug up 46 screens from a dead 2014 android app that had geofenced reminders before anyone else did — buried under a form that cost twelve interactions. Rebuilt it so you say the sentence and the app proposes the structure. Twelve interactions down to one. Countable straight off the original screens.

Filters are just the site making you do its job. So i killed them. One sentence of intent in, three explained proposals out — forty-one stays scanned, what you gain and what you give up stated out loud. 16 screens, a deployed prototype, 85 wired interactions.

The legacy system worked fine right up until it was busy. Split screens, no hierarchy, and save states you had to guess at — in a place where guessing has consequences. One unified workspace, visible auto-save, inline validation on medical entries. Roughly 30–40% off data-entry time and new staff stopped needing a babysitter.

High-value rentals live and die on trust, and trust is a UX problem before it's a legal one. Two parallel journeys — renters and owners — sharing messaging, orders and reviews. Licence and identity checks sit inside the booking flow instead of after it, plus a fleet dashboard so owners always know where their gear is.

What changed
Artists, galleries and buyers all wanted different things from the same screens, and nobody buys a $4,000 canvas they can't touch without a lot of reassurance. So the UI got out of the way — artwork as the primary interface element, progressive disclosure for everything else, and a design system tight enough that the flutter devs never had to guess a value.

This one was never about dashboards. High-net-worth investors decide how they feel about you in about four seconds, so i built it as a scroll-based cinematic sequence — each section revealing one more layer of the brand, minimal copy, controlled transitions, no UI noise. Perception-first, and the code stayed clean enough to stay fast.

Nobody adds enterprise XR to a shopping cart, so the whole ecommerce model was the wrong shape. I rebuilt the journey as discovery → consideration → consultation: a multi-step quote flow that captures intent, requirements and readiness, feeding qualified leads instead of tyre-kickers. Device provisioning, kiosk setup and lifecycle management run behind it.

GCU/AVV regulations, damage claims, liability — dense, scattered, and expensive to get wrong. I turned it into a membership knowledge platform: tiered access, expert library, recorded sessions, workshop bookings and ECM courses, all multilingual for european stakeholders. Content, training and consulting on one rail instead of three.

This stopped being a website job about ten minutes in. Adoption and fostering data lived in disconnected workflows, field volunteers were on bad mobile connections, and the whole thing wasn't built to scale nationally. I rebuilt the core databases, cut the load time, and restructured around three actions people actually take under stress: adopt, foster, donate.

Every off-the-shelf events plugin was three times the weight for a third of the fit. So i wrote one. Custom post type, proper data model for dates, venues and ticket states — shows retire themselves the morning after, presales and cancellations handled by logic instead of memory. The media manager stopped touching code entirely.
